I'm joined by Desiree Goldey, Director of Marketing and Culture at ZRG Partners and founder of Do Better Consulting. Together, we unpack the evolving world of recruiting, leadership, and workplace culture. Drawing from her extensive experience in talent development, Desiree shares the highs and lows of her journey into recruiting, the importance of emotional intelligence, and why strong leadership can make or break a job experience—military or civilian.
We then get into the interesting conversation of how AI is reshaping recruitment. While artificial intelligence is rapidly streamlining the hiring process, Ms. Goldey argues that the human element in recruiting—like evaluating soft skills, body language, and emotional cues—remains irreplaceable.
